Look what's popping-up in London National Park City

Hello Reader

If you've ever been to a National Park, chances are you popped into the visitors centre on your trip to find out about places of interest, things to do, and what to see – so why shouldn't London National Park City be any different?

We'd like to invite you to hear about our plans for our first pop-up Visitors Centre to be hosted at 109 Fleet Street, in the City of London. This space will play a central role in increasing awareness, introducing the National Park City Story, and helping more Londoners imagine new ways for how we might live in our city with a stronger connection to urban nature.

Join us on zoom at 6pm on Monday 27th November to learn more.

From a nice idea we had over the summer to getting the keys to a vacant shop in Fleet Street by the Autumn. We're planning to run the shop as a live experiment to learn how we might establish a pop-up Visitors Centre for London National Park City.

We'll be hosting public exhibitions, events, workshops and activities over the next few months and we're keen to hear from partners who'd like to work with us on this.

We'll need practical help and support with fit-out, fixture and fittings, and resources. We'll have lots of opportunities to volunteer and if you represent a business or organisation who'd like to help us out we're very keen to hear from you.

If you'd like to find out how to get involved then join us for this initial introductory session. We'll be sharing more meetings in the run up to our full launch in the new year.

I look forward to seeing you on Monday.
